What should I do before sending Rublon for Windows log file(s) and config screenshots?

Customers experiencing issues with the Rublon for Windows connector who did not find a fix after studying the FAQ and Rublon Help should send us their log file(s) and screenshots of the configuration in Windows Registry for troubleshooting. However, people often forget to hide sensitive data concerning their users and infrastructure.

If you ever decide to send us your Rublon for Windows log file(s) or screenshots showing your Windows Registry configuration, make sure to remove all sensitive information beforehand.

Sensitive data you should hide before sending us screenshots showing your Windows Registry configuration under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Rublon\WindowsLogon:

  • SystemToken

  • SecretKey

  • ProxyHost (if you use proxy)

  • ProxyPort (if you use proxy)

  • ProxyUsername (if you use proxy)

  • ProxyPassword (if you use proxy)

Sensitive data you may want to hide before sending us your log file(s) located under C:\Program Files\Rublon\Logon\Logs\rublon-credential-provider.log:

  • Email addresses of your users

  • Phone numbers of your users
