How to enable Debug Mode in the Rublon MFA for Windows Logon and RDP connector?

Modified on Thu, 4 Apr at 11:14 AM

To enable Debug Mode in the Rublon MFA for Windows Logon and RDP connector:

1. Go to Windows Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Rublon\WindowsLogon.

2. In the WindowsLogon directory, you will find a key named DebugMode. By default, its value is set to 0.

To enable additional log file entries, you can set this value to 1, 2, or 3. The higher the value, the more detailed the debug logs will be.

3. In the same WindowsLogon directory, there is another key named DebugRublonRequests. By default, its value is also set to 0.

Set this value to 1 to enable a debug window (developer tools) that will be displayed next to the Rublon Prompt during each login.

4. And that’s it! You have now enabled Debug Mode in the Rublon MFA for Windows Logon and RDP connector. This will allow you to troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing with the connector more effectively.
