Why changing the role of an administrator may not be possible

Here are reasons why you may not be able to change the role of an administrator in the Rublon Admin Console.

1. You Are Not An Owner

As per Administrator Roles, only administrators with the Owner role can assign administrative roles.

If you would like to learn what your role is, sign in to the Rublon Admin Console, click the Profile icon in the top right corner, and look up the Role value.

If your role is not Owner, you will not be able to assign or change the roles of other administrators.

Note that one organization can have more than one Owner. So, you can ask a person who already is an Owner to assign the Owner role to you.

2. The Administrator’s Status is Pending

If the status of the administrator whose role you want to change is Pending, you will not be able to change their role.

Note that you can assign roles only to administrators who have completed the Rublon Admin Console registration process.

When an Owner manually adds an administrator in the Administrators tab of the Rublon Admin Console, Rublon sends an email to the new administrator that invites them to join the organization. The new administrator must click the link in the email and finish the setup process to join the organization. Their status in the Administrators tab is Pending until they complete that process.
