How can I enable Auto Push?

Auto Push is an option that allows any user who logs in to a service protected with Rublon to receive a Mobile Push automatically. In this scenario, the process of choosing the authentication method is skipped.

The Default Authentication Method is a policy in the Rublon Admin Console that allows you to achieve the preceding. It also allows you to choose any other method as default as well.

You can enable Auto Push using the Default Authentication Method policy in the Global Policy or in a Custom Policy.

To enable Auto Push in the Global Policy, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Rublon Admin Console.

2. In the left pane, click Policies.

3. In the Global Policy section, click Edit Global Policy.

4. Set Default Authentication Method to Mobile Push.

5. Click Save.

From now on, Auto Push is enabled on all your applications.

If you would like to enable Auto Push on only some of your applications, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Rublon Admin Console.

2. In the left pane, click Policies.

3. In the Custom Policies section, click New Policy.

4. Set a name for your new custom policy, e.g., Auto Push Policy.

5. Click Authentication Methods on the left.

6. Set Default Authentication Method to Mobile Push.

7. Click Save.

8. In the left pane, click Applications.

9. Find an application you want to assign your new policy to.

10. Click the name of the application.

11. In the Policy section, click Assign.

12. In the dialog, select your policy and click Assign.

13. Repeat steps 9-12 for other applications if required.

From now on, Auto Push is enabled on all applications with Auto Push Policy.

Can I do the same for other methods, such as Auto SMS Passcode or Auto YubiOTP?

Yes, you can do that using the Default Authentication Method policy. Just follow the steps above and select a method different from Mobile Push in the Default Authentication Method section.
