What to do if a user lost their device and cannot log in to a Rublon-integrated application?

If a user lost their device and cannot log in to a Rublon-integrated application, you can:

1. Ask them to enroll an alternative authentication method, e.g., add a phone number and use the SMS Passcode or SMS Link authentication method.

2. If the above solution is not feasible, you can generate a Bypass Code for the user. The user can then use the Bypass Code to log in to the application.

Important: As an administrator or a member of the help desk team, it is crucial that you ensure the security of the communication channel used for sending the Bypass Code. It is also your responsibility to have additional verification measures in place to confirm the user’s identity before generating and sending them a Bypass Code. This is essential to reduce the risk of social engineering attacks. Please treat this as a serious warning for maintaining the security of your organization.
