Does Rublon challenge for MFA after locking the screen on Windows?

Modified on Wed, 14 Feb at 10:19 AM

After you install the Rublon for Rublon for Windows Logon & RDP connector on your Windows machine, Rublon will start challenging you for MFA every time you lock and then unlock the screen.

When you unlock your screen and re-enter your password, Rublon behaves just like it does when the user signs in to the computer.

Consider the following scenario:

1. You lock your computer. For example, by clicking "Lock" instead of "Sign Out" in the Start menu.

2. You unlock the computer and re-enter your password.

3. You receive an MFA challenge from Rublon. For example, a Mobile Push authentication request on your mobile device.

4. You accept the challenge and gain access to your Windows machine.
